With the qualifiers for the Fortnite Battle Royale World Cup enter their third week, and popular Twitch streamers Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman have set up a nice little wager for it.
The third of ten weekends of qualifiers for the World Cup is set to take place April 27-28, with solo players from around the world looking to book their trip to the grand event in July.
Two players who will likely not be making that trip are Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman, who despite being two of the biggest stars on Twitch, aren’t exactly considered to be Fortnite BR powerhouses.
Doc challenges Tim to wager
Despite knowing his limits in Fortnite BR, Doc is more than confident that he will place higher than Tim in the upcoming qualifier, to the point where he wagered $500 that he would end up with more qualification points.
“Hey Timmy Tenders, aka TimTheTatman, $500 to the winner with the more points in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier,” he tweeted. “You don’t got the guts nor the experience in late game circles.”
The ante gets upped
Shortly after the challenge was issued, Tim agreed to take on the wager against Doc, although tweaking the terms so that he gets paid in gifted subscribers on Twitch rather than straight up cash.
The Doc was willing to meet those terms if Tim would agree to pay him the cash in person while doing laps around his infinity pool butt naked, should he win of course.

While that second amendment to the deal is probably never going to happen, it does set up a hilarious battle between two superstar streamers for whom Fortnite BR isn’t exactly a forte.
Doc’s well-documented hate for Fortnite BR
It is pretty interesting that Dr Disrespect would issue such a deal on a game that he’s never really enjoyed playing much.
Despite Fortnite BR’s explosive success, the Doc has consistently criticized it, calling the game’s animated look childish, contending that it “makes kids soft,” uninstalling it several times in fits of rage, and even going as far as to sing a Frozen-inspired song trashing the game.
Either way, one of these two streamers is going to have to step up their game and try to eclipse the other in qualification points, as $500, and possibly some laps around the pool, are at stake.
