Recent months have seen video games and popular culture come together like never before in the history of online gaming.

Whether its Ninja playing Fortnite with Drake, or the multitude of celebrities and athletes that showed up in the currently ongoing E3 gaming convention, it cannot be denied that gaming has taken center stage in an unprecedented fashion.

The most recent example of this trend was on June 13th, when members of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team and popular music artist ‘Post Malone’ teamed up with compLexity Gaming’s professional Call of Duty team.

Being that the compLexity’s headquarters are based in Texas, the group gathered at the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters for a session of intense Call of Duty action.

Pictures taken showed Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliot, and wide receiver Cole Beasley had joined the popular rapper at the event.

The members of compLexity that were present included CEO Jason Lake along with players Doug ‘Censor’ Martin, Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell, Rasim ‘Blazt’ Ogresevic, team analyst Jeremy ‘StuDyy’ Astacio, and CSGO player Rory ‘dephh’ Jackson.

Of course Post Malone’s interest in Call of Duty has been well documented. The global music icon has live-streamed the game on his Twitch channel several times, and has even played with other big names in the community, including OpTic Gaming content creator Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop.
